SARIA Polska and JKK Group merge activities
SARIA Polska and the JKK Group intend to merge their activities in the animal by-product processing sector. A corresponding agreement was just signed. The merger is subject to approval from the relevant competition authorities.
SARIA Polska and the JKK Group agreed to merge their business operations. Both parties specialise in the collection and processing of animal by-products. The JKK Group consists of three independent companies – Eko-Stok, Struga S.A. and Kemos – employing a total of 345 people across seven production sites in Poland. SARIA Polska has a total workforce of 430 employees at its three sites in Golcza, Przewrotne and Dlugi Borek plus the head office in Warsaw.
Tomasz Kurcinski, Marek Karwowski and Mariusz Jarmuz, the owners of the Eko-Stok/Struga S.A./Kemos group, welcomed the merger agreement: “We are delighted to have found such a competent and committed partner in SARIA. We are convinced that the cooperation between the two companies will help us to develop our activities and to meet future needs – in the interests of our employees, customers and suppliers.”
