Nicolas Rottmann appointed new member of the SARIA Executive Board
Selm. At today’s Board meeting, the Supervisory Board of the SARIA Group decided to appoint Nicolas Rottmann as a new member of the SARIA Executive Board effective January 1, 2020.
Nicolas Rottmann will be responsible for SARIA France and SARIA Spain, which he will take over from Tim Schwencke and Harald van Boxtel, who led them on an interim basis over the past few months. With this decision, the Board is strengthening these two important countries and emphasizing their significance for the future development of the Group.
Nicolas Rottmann has many years of experience in various senior management positions. Between 2003 and 2008, he worked for the SARIA Group, including serving as a member of the management team in France and as a manager at SARIA subsidiary SecAnim in Germany. Since 2008, he has been managing director of several subsidiaries of the Rhenus Group, a sister company of SARIA. Nicolas Rottmann is 45 years old, German and married with three children.
"With his broad expertise and many years of experience, Nicolas Rottmann will be a perfect addition to the SARIA Executive Board. He has been a part of our family business for 16 years and we are convinced that not only his knowledge, but also his personal skills will be valuable assets to the Executive Board," commented Dr Martin Rethmann, Chairman of the SARIA Supervisory Board, speaking on the occasion of the appointment.
As of 1 January 2020, the SARIA Executive Board will thus consist of Lars Krause-Kjær, Nicolas Rottmann, Tim Alexander Schwencke, Franz-Bernhard Thier and Harald van Boxtel.
